Hey Athelas! I actually participate in small word wars on Facebook... either in the GTW group, or a Word War group created by a GTW member. I love word wars to death. They help me build words the fastest. I should participate in the GTW site ones, if I can find the ones that are happening. :P
I've been doing Word Wars for years now, and they are one of the best things that's ever happened to me writing-wise. Don't love them to death--we need them! If you go to the Day Four page, I and a couple of other girls are doing them there.
