The Liebster Award

Thank you Victoria at Stori Tori's Blog and Katelyn at The Life of a Teenage Writer for nominating me for the Liebster Award! It's pretty. ;) This looks like so much fun! :)
The Liebster award is where Bloggers nominate other bloggers they like with 200 followers or less. Any type of blog can be nominated. It's a way to get to know new bloggers and to network with them. Here's how it works:
 1. List 11 facts about yourself.
2. Answer the 11 questions the blogger who nominated you left.
3. Ask 11 new questions for those who you nominate.
4. Choose 11 bloggers with less than 200 followers to nominate.
5. Go to each blogger's page and let them know about the award.
6. Thank the person who nominated you and link back to their blog.  (I didn't realize this rule until after I wrote the above intro.)

Thanks for nominating me, Bethany! This is the second time I've been nominated recently. Hopefully that means I actually have readers!

Thanks so much for the award, Bethany! I'll answer the questions here, since I don't generally post awards on my blog :)

1. Do you have siblings? How many?
3 siblings, each one special in their own way!

2. Checkered or plaid?
Hmm. Plaid, in shades of blue, purple, and green.

3. Favorite food?
Hiyashi-chuka, which is this really delicious cold noodle dish from Japan.

4. How much wood did the woodchuck chuck?
A circle has no beginning.

5. Favorite fantasy world?
Ooh! Tough question! I guess it's a tie between Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, although I also love the world of The Little White Horse.

6. Hot chocolate or coffee?
Hot chocolate. By far.

7. What is your favorite musical?
Another tough question! I will always love Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, Singing in the Rain, Annie, and all those wonderful classics. I've recently come to enjoy Phantom of the Opera and Les Mis.

8. Would you rather eat a raw squirrel, or moldy doughnuts? :P
Moldy donuts -- I'm vegetarian :P

9. On a scale of 1-10 how much do you enjoy reading?
10! Although it does depend on the book.

10. Favorite book?
Aside from the Bible, I'd say Alex & Brett Harris' Do Hard Things. It's a killer motivationally speaking.

11. Cold weather or hot weather?
Warm and tropical. I like the thought of cold weather, just not the reality of it!

Thanks again, Bethany!
